Questions from non-EU nationals in Castellón

From outside the EU, the visa or the authorisation comes first and the TIE card after it. These are the questions asked most in Castellón.

I have just landed with a work visa for a firm in Onda. Which appointment comes first?

Fingerprinting for your TIE card, called toma de huellas. Book it in your first days: the time limit is short and counts from your entry into Spain.

Huellas TIE Castellón: where are fingerprints taken?

At one of the two police addresses on policia.es, Plaza Teodoro Izquierdo 6 or Calle Río Sella 5; both list TIE issue, and no official page says which takes which booking. Your cita previa confirmation tells you.

My wife is Italian and I am Pakistani. Which card is mine?

The card for relatives of EU citizens, requested on form EX-19. Her own green certificate comes first, because your card rests on her registration.

Extranjería Castellón: where are work permits decided?

At the Oficina de Extranjería, Calle Escultor Viciano 2, in the Edificio La Pau. Its list covers authorisations to live and work as an employee, research, the EU Blue Card and changes of status. It is open from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 14:00, and information visits need a cita previa.

My card is in renewal. May I travel?

Yes, but plan the way back: with an expired card, ask for the return authorisation (autorización de regreso) before you travel.

I came with a Ukrainian passport and live in Castelló. Which page is mine?

It depends on how you came: a visa, a family link, studies or another status. Each has its own route, so tell us yours and we point you to the right procedure.

Which sample is yours?

Tell us, in a short message, which passport you hold and what brings you to Castelló. Our reply by email names your procedure and lists the papers to gather.
